The new heart of Warsaw

The Norblin Factory

The Norblin Factory is a multifunctional complex in the heart of Warsaw’s Wola district. After many years of revitalization of the former Norblin plants, Bracia Buch i T. Werner has reopened to the city, delighting visitors with its historic buildings, in which modern architecture has been incorporated. The area, which has been a neglected pearl of post-industrial architecture for years, has now become a hot spot on the map of Poland’s capital. Unique cultural, entertainment and gastronomic concepts are available to the guests of the Norblin Factory, including: original, boutique KinoGram cinema, an ecological market – BioBazar, the largest gastronomic zone in the capital with Food Town, Piano Bar with live music in one of the the oldest buildings of the complex, the Norblin Factory Museum, which commemorates the over 200-year history of this place, the immersive Art Box Experience, the Apple Museum of Poland, as well as shops and commercial and service premises. “Today, this neighborhood is the heart of Warsaw. When we bought the area in 2008, even in our wildest dreams, we did not expect the city center to move to Wola. We are very proud of this project and we are working to ensure that the Norblin Factory with its cultural, gastronomic and tourist offer becomes a permanent part of the Warsaw program and that it becomes the flagship project of the whole of Warsaw,” – says Kinga Nowakowska, a Member of the Management board, COO at Capital Park Group, the owner of the Norblin Factory.

The Norblin Factory Museum

The Norblin Factory Museum, which is an integral part of the Norblin Factory, shows the rich history of the location but also gives a chance to experience Warsaw city from the past epoque. The collection presented at the Museum’s permanent exhibition includes 10 buildings, 50 machines and devices dating from the end of the 19th century to the 1960s, as well as approximately 400 silver-plated metal artefacts (including sets of objects and individual objects). The history of the site at 51/53 Żelazna Street, today known as the Norblin Factory, dates back 240 years and cannot be possibly told all at once. Visitors to the exhibition can follow four routes: Buildings & Architecture, Machines & Devices, People, and Products. A fifth route combines selected parts of the other four.

The biggest gastronomic zone in Warsaw

Food Town is the largest food hall located in five historic halls (3,500 sq.m.). It houses 24 food concepts offering a variety of cuisines from around the world. There are also four theme bars with a 50-strong bartending team. Except from Food Town the culinary offer of the Norblin Factory has been expanded with new restaurants. The new tenants of the complex include the Bocca Ristorante & Pizzeria, SOUL on the Grill serving American comfort food, the Paradiso restaurant with international cuisine and Tex-Mex restaurant Blue Cactus. There is also a Piano Bar which serves tapas, salads, main courses, and lunches. The historic annex of Franciszek Ryx’s villa houses the only Wiśniewski outlet in Warsaw with its own liquors as well as the multitap bar with craft beer UWAGA Piwo. In the summer season, the Norblin Factory has been filled with gardens which offer almost 500 seats to the complex’s guests. A summer music stage hosts fantastic concert almost every day.

Cinema

KinoGram is a top-quality boutique cinema located in the Norblin Factory in Warsaw. Its design refers to factory’s industrial style and history. The interiors of the cinema halls are kept in a cool, artistic vintage style, reminiscent of the golden era of American studio cinemas.

Art Box Experience

The fully immersive ART BOX EXPERIENCE is the first in Poland and unique in Europe. It features unique multisensory shows at the intersection of digital technology, art, science and entertainment. The first show, Retro Warsaw, will transport the audience to the capital city full of bustle, music and colours from 100 years ago.
