A leap forward for Deep Tech in CEE

Welcome to StartUP with Poland, where we zoom in on what’s currently hot in the Polish startup ecosystem by speaking with key players.

In this episode Tessa McIver talks to Wojeciech Ratymirski, General Partner at Radix Ventures. Radix is a new Venture Capital fund on the CEE scene that plans to have its first close this coming Autumn. What is especially exciting, is that Radix plans to focus on investing into deep tech startups – so those commercialising science and research. This space is currently underserved in the region, so this is a much needed and welcome step forward for the startup ecosystem in CEE.

Wojtek himself has a long history in the investment world – he was previously Investment Director at ValueTech Seed Fund and before that at Newberg. He has also served on the boards at numerous companies. Enjoy the show!
