Korea: Re-Found in Wrocław

A Blend of Tradition and Innovation

Wrocław Airport is currently hosting the digital exhibition “Korea: Re-Found,” offering visitors a chance to experience Korean culture through the works of renowned artists Lee Lee-Nam and Donah Lee. The exhibition, organized by the Cultural Heritage Restoration Foundation in collaboration with LOT, LG Poland, brings together the innovative interpretation of traditional Korean art with a modern, digital twist.

The official opening of the exhibition featured notable attendees, including James Nam, representing the Cultural Heritage Restoration Foundation in Poland, Karol Przywara, president of PLW, Kim Yoosun, president of LG Poland, Lee Danggwon from the Korean Cultural Center in Poland, and Han Yunkyoung, director of the foundation’s Vienna branch and artistic director. This collaborative effort highlights the growing interest in Korean art and culture across Europe.

The exhibition is available on the airport’s observation deck until the end of October. It showcases Lee Lee-Nam’s pioneering video paintings, where traditional motifs come to life through animated elements, as well as Donah Lee’s award-winning media art, which explores the depth of cultural heritage.

Entry is free, and visitors are invited to immerse themselves in this captivating blend of art and technology, celebrating Korea’s rich artistic legacy. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore this unique cultural experience at Wrocław Airport!
