The Museum of Dollhouses, Games and Toys presents a permanent exhibition with, among others, over 150 fully furnished classic dollhouses, as well as miniature shops, schools, hospitals, hair salons and other service facilities. Presented exhibits come from all over the world and the oldest are over 200 years old. For decades these classic toys, with their extraordinary appeal and charm, have sparked curiosity and fascinated architects, set designers and collectors, as well as historians and social researchers, looking for information about how and where people lived. “In the Bygone World of Dollhouses” is available in the main branch of the museum in Warsaw’s Old Town and is open every day from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
