Since January 13, 2013, a strict definition of Polish Vodka applies specifying in detail which vodkas have the right to use a protected geographical indication. Every year on this day, the enthusiasts of the finest Polish spirits celebrate the Day of Polish Vodka, which gives a perfect opportunity to visit one of the most iconic places in Warsaw – the Polish Vodka Museum at Centrum Praskie Koneser. Located in the historical neo-Gothic building of the rectification plant, where the flagship brands of Polish vodkas, such as Luksusowa and Wyborowa, were spread, the Museum presents the history and tradition of this inherent, known world-wide, attribute of Polishness and local culture of celebration. Visitors can participate in tasting panels accompanied by modern dishes of traditional Polish cuisine, and even receive a Personal Diploma of a Polish Vodka Connoisseur.
