Big Screen Melodies for kids

The Polish National Opera prepared a special educational project for kids at the age of 10 and up, to introduce them to the specificity of movie scores – the ways in which music complements a motion picture and its story, as well as how it affects the audience’s emotions and perception. Big Screen Melodies program consists of selected motifs from such iconic films, as among others “The Deer Hunter”, “The Thomas Crown Affair”, “La La Land”, “Léon: The Professional”, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, “The Phantom of the Opera” or “The Umbrellas of Cherbourg”. The music is performed by the piano duo Duo Granat & Kreda, and accompanied by video projections, encouraging young participants to rewatch the film classics and submerge themselves in the beauty of their music. Performances will take place on February 25 and on March 3, at 12:00. For tickets visit: teatrwielki.pl
