The Museum of Warsaw prepared a new temporary exhibition for the enthusiasts of both – the city itself and its cuisine. “For Here and To Go” presents 800 years of the history of food in Warsaw – from the Middle Ages to present day. Through the collection of archaeological discoveries, archival materials, everyday objects, photographs and works of art, shows how meals were prepared and served, what were the most popular dishes, and how the customs changed over the centuries. Parts of the exhibition were designed as play and learning areas for the younger audience aged 7-10. “For Here and To Go” is open until April 17.
