American Cars Mania – the largest American automotive festival in Europe is returning to Katowice
From June 19 to 21, 2026, Muchowiec Airport will once again transform into a vibrant hub of American automotive culture. For years, the event has attracted thousands of enthusiasts, exhibitors, and business representatives from Poland, across Europe, and beyond.
Organizers are announcing a record-breaking edition, expecting over 2,000 American vehicles. In 2024, the event featured 1,387 cars, and in 2025 that number grew to 1,903, clearly demonstrating its dynamic growth. Will this year set a new record? All signs suggest it might.
Visitors can expect an impressive range of vehicles, from classic models from the golden era of American motoring, through youngtimers and hot rods, to powerful V8 machines. There will also be police cars, trucks, and rare, unique models. This marks the 13th edition of the International American Car Rally, which has firmly established itself as one of Europe’s leading events of its kind.
American Cars Mania is not just about cars, it’s about a lifestyle inspired by the legendary Route 66, defined by freedom, ease, and an informal atmosphere. The festival attracts not only automotive enthusiasts but also families and visitors seeking a unique experience. It also serves as a valuable networking space, where companies showcase their products and build relationships. In 2025, the Polish premiere of the Tesla Cybertruck drew significant attention.
The event program includes Low Rider shows, the Miss Pin-Up Girl contest, and live concerts. Saturday’s highlights will feature The Blues Brothers „Soul Mission” Tribute Show and The Kings Friends band. DJ sets and various attractions for visitors will also be part of the experience.
A new addition for 2026 will be Beef Master, a steak festival offering culinary shows, tastings, and workshops, giving visitors a chance to explore American cuisine at its finest.
The organizers also emphasize education and safety. The „Health and Safe Driving Zone” will offer free medical check-ups, first aid workshops, and rollover simulators.
American Cars Mania is held under the honorary patronage of the Mayor of Katowice and the National Road Safety Council. Thanks to its consistent growth, the event has become one of the most important automotive festivals in Europe.
