The Group plans to invest 650 million zlotys on the development of production and logistics. One of the largest food companies in Central and Eastern Europe wants to implement a huge project in Wadowice.
The Maspex Group, a Polish food giant and owner of brands such as Tymbark, Kubuś and Łowicz, plans to invest approximately 650 million zlotys in the development of production and logistics by 2024. The investments are aimed at implementing modern technologies to increase the company’s operational efficiency and flexibility. In 2023, the sales revenues of the Maspex Group amounted to over 15 billion zlotys, which makes it one of the largest players in the food industry in Central and Eastern Europe. The company decided to return to its roots and planned significant investments in Wadowice.
Planned investments include the expansion of existing production plants in Tymbark, Tychy and Oborniki, as well as in the foreign branch in Valenia de Munte in Romania. Bogdan Tyrybon, SCM Director of the Maspex Group, notes that a favorable business climate allows for continued investments that will increase the company’s production capacity and allow it to better meet consumer expectations.
The firm plans to build an additional production plant in Wadowice and expand the company’s headquarters. After the expansion is completed, the number of employees in Wadowice is expected to increase by approximately 400-500 people. The planned investments not only influence the development of the Maspex Group, but also contribute to the economic growth of the regions where the company’s production plants are located.
