Air Arabia New Connection

On 20 December 2024 Air Arabia launched direct flights from Warsaw Chopin Airport to Sharjah, the third biggest city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) bordering with Dubai. The ribbon was cut by the first flight pilots and officials from Air Arabia and Polskie Porty Lotnicze, with passengers being served tortes and gifts. Air Arabia is a low cost carrier (LCC) offering 206 routes on Airbus A320 and A321 planes in the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and Europe. Its operations in Poland have been intensified in 2024. In June it started flights from Sharjah to Kraków in southern Poland enabling convenient connections to Thailand, India and Sri Lanka. In November it offered discounts for tickets to 500 thousand destinations, some even at $ 30. From January to November 2024 Chopin Airport served almost 20 million passengers, 16% more than last year, a record in its 90-years history.
