The cheapest personal accident insurance
for a student costs PLN 33 per year, offered by TUZ Ubezpieczenia. At this price, the policy provides a sum insured of PLN 10,000, PLN 100 for each 1 percent of health impairment and PLN 20 for each day of hospitalization. For comparison, the most expensive option is offered by Europa, with an annual premium of PLN 305. In this case, the sum insured is PLN 100,000, the insurer will pay up to PLN 800 for each 1 percent of health impairment, and PLN 100 for each day of hospitalization.
A medical package
for a student may cost from PLN 99, offered by LUX MED, to PLN 400, offered by MediSky, per month. Here, it is worth paying attention to individual needs, because the cheapest offer guarantees access to 9 different specialists, but does not include, among others, an allergist, orthopedist or gastroenterologist, while the maximum option allows visits to doctors of various specialties without limits. Offers will also differ in terms of the number of tests available in the package, the possibility of using home visits or specialist examinations, for example imaging tests such as magnetic resonance imaging.
Life insurance
for a student is a more individual matter, because many factors affect the monthly premium. According to our calculation, the cheapest option may cost around PLN 69, with a sum insured of PLN 40,000, while the most expensive costs PLN 161, with a sum insured of PLN 150,000. However, both cheaper and more expensive options can be found on the market. It all depends on the scope of insurance.
A sample calculation for a rented studio apartment
of 20 sqm in Wrocław, where the student would choose basic protection, shows that the annual premium may range from PLN 85, offered by Wiener, to PLN 341, offered by Generali. However, if the student chooses a more extensive offer, with protection against burglary and third-party liability in private life, the cheapest option will cost PLN 124, offered by Wiener, and the most expensive PLN 516, offered by Generali.
